I don’t like the generic bashing of “the left,” as if everyone left of center is guilty, but otherwise, I think Mike Hendrix makes a very good point.
(Thanks John.)

Interesting picture there at Cold Fury. Whenever I see such a picture of a quintessentially masculine man and a quintessentially feminine woman, I always think that you can test whether you are by impulse aan androsexual or a gynosexual by which you prefer. I’m obviously not man enough to be a man’s man, so I’ll take the beautiful woman instead.
Interesting that Cold Fury continues to host the, no longer Objectivist but still Rather [sic] interesting, anti-War blogger Arthur Silber. Perhaps he just likes Arthur Silber’s style. Anyway….!
Mike Hendrix has it right. This Republican President, or any Republican, can do no right in the eyes of his Democrat enemies in the media. He’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. I’ve of a mind to put duct tape over their mouths.
I say the Left is most certainly guilty of at least a hundred million crimes since at least the French Revolution. Today’s Leftover Left is not worth wasting our time bashing. They are uninteresting, boring, they have no style. We should ignore them, delete them out of existence with our contempt. Turn of the ——- TV and stop listening to the blatherings of blow-dried airheads. Use the “Walter Duranty Times” and its like for the fish-wrap or bird-cage-liner it was intended to be. Don’t link to blogs like Kos. Don’t waste your vote on their politicians of the Party of the Plantation. Me, I’ve finally, at long last, decided I’m going to vote straight Republican from now on. We need another Calvin Coolidge. We need another General Horemheb.
Senator Santorum has written a book so I hear, It Takes a Family: Conservatism and the Common Good. I’ll look for it. As you probably know by now, I oppose Santorum’s moral collectivism, but he is at least a far more worthy or at least far more interesting adversary than anybody on the economic and racial collectivist Left today.
