I don’t know what I found more interesting, the fact that the State Department now has its own blog, or this interview I found on it. I guess both!

(Thanks Mark.)

So now I know how Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice’s family came to be Presbyterians. Well, why not? Had I been her grand-dad, I would have chosen the same route get my tuition for an education at Tillman College.

I always have respected her, even if I never liked her ideas of a peace settlement between Israel and the Arabs, which I consider vapid, unachievable and contrary to Israel’s long-term national interests.

Of course she doesn’t do politics, just as she says. Even so, she would have proven a unique candidate for the presidency, and I think she would prove a winner. The first african-american president AND the first woman president, both in one person.
