Either New Jersey is attacking Delaware or there’s a fireworks show going on in the distance. Guess that tax free shopping finally got to them.
Our weekend walk was to go to the Stanford campus and wander all over for about 2.5 hours. We went up the elevator at Hoover Tower and saw the sights, and watched the end of a baseball game (against San Jose State) from a hill in the outfield.
It was a nice day to do this; a breezy 72 degrees. Also, the usual wedding-pix crowd was getting shots in at the church.

The bombardment has stopped. Maybe Jersey realized that our cancer rate is higher than theirs.

“As a magazine publisher on the Greek island of Lesvos — Lesbos according to the classical spelling — he is suing Greece’s biggest gay and lesbian association to get the term (with a small l) expunged from public usage.
He claims it is insulting to what he calls the proper Lesbians — the people of Lesvos. “We are suffering psychological and moral rape,†said Mr Lambrou.”
