First!

Man, you can practically set up a whole business out of Kinko’s these days. With WiFi so I can register a domain and build a Web site, business card printing, printing for fliers, and even T-shirt and mug printing in some locations, I can do all the stuff I need to establish a business "presence".

I  should be placing a new ad for this business soon, Dean. Your number of views was impressive, your click-through rate moreso.

Here’s a lady from Arkansas and her 17 children. She and her husband announced today that they are expecting their eighteen child.

I don’t know if she is pro-life but it appears so.

And wouldn’t you know it, her husbands name is Jim Bob.

A cold rain fell today as Philly buried one of its finest. Interestingly his killer, who was gunned down soon afterward, won’t be buried by the local mosque.

“We don’t tolerate that kind of behavior,” (Tariq El Shabazz, managing director of the mosque) said. “Their actions are not from Islam. You don’t dress like a woman, you don’t rob people or transgress against them or commit murder. On all three grounds, they are dead wrong.”

JL, thanks for the links.  I may try to learn a language or two now.  My Spanish is limited to Taco Bell, counting to ten, and some dirty words…

Good on yer, Tariq El Shabazz!

You’re welcome, Texas.

Slow night I see.  Hmm, what have I been up to…

Went to the Evergreen Arboretum last week, when we got some unexpected sunshine.  Other than that, I’ve just been going to pot

JLBussey,

I know how to insult Caucasian people in four languages.

My favorite is combining the Piegan (Blackfeet) words for light skin (Napi Kwan) and hind-quarters (Oosey).

So, I’m not sure of the correct syntax, but I am Napi Kwan Oosey, white-ass.

Oh, and damned proud of it.

Navajo (Alamo) is  Bellaconna  (sp.)

Sounds almost endearing.

Wow, talk about miscariage of justice. A man here in Wisconsin is being railroaded by the ATF on weapons charges for having a machine gun. The gun in question is an old AR-15 that malfunctioned at a shooting range and fired a burst of a couple rounds. Hearing the burst the shooting range notified the ATF, who later swarmed David Olofson house in full battle gear.

This hasn’t been in the news to speak of, although Lou Dobbs has done a couple of updates on it. Olofson is facing up to 6 years if he doesn’t win a retrial.

Although the ATF has had a hard time reproducing the malfuction (they finally did by using low charge ammo) they still will not back down. They say that strict interpretation of the law states that the malfunction DOES make the rifle a machine gun and therefore they were goning to continue the prosecution of Mr. Olofson.

Martin,

Does Ta reek el Shabazz mean that Malcolm X smells bad?

Ow…

And I say again, Rodger: ow…

Hey, Dean, Ron’s ad is looking kinda lonely over there. You should check your email and see if there’s somebody waiting to keep Ron company…

I know, Martin, I know.

I’m kinda bored.
