The chronic obesity/thermodynamics debate continues. I was going to take some of my recent comments and put them on the front page, but the discussion is complex enough it’s easier to just tell you to read the comments.

 discussion is complex

What is complex about not eating a sheet cake for breakfast, sprinkled with Twinkies and Ho-Hos!:)

p.s. I once did this in college. Very bad tummy ache ensued

p.p.s. Excessive beer and pizza make a person fat.  I stand by my scientific observations. Doesn’t mean they ain’t a good person. Just means they are fat.

Heh. Hank, you might want to read the discussion.

The sheet cake and the beer and pizza may make you fat. Get fat long enough, and no amount of Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig or the local gym will help you if your fat cells refuse to release their fuel.

It’s like saying that any fool knows that if you just step on the gas pedal hard enough, your car will start and will drive properly.

But I grow weary of repeating myself to people who haven’t actually read or considered anything I’ve actually said. Enjoy your sheet cake and beer. %-)

"Excessive beer and pizza make a person fat."

This is true basically by definition. If it wasn’t enough to make you fat, it wouldn’t be "excessive".
