Okay, it's not Saturday night anymore, but a front-page poster might want to post this:

It's pretty interesting

<a href="http://vistaoncurrentevents.com/vista/" rel="nofollow">Today I made the move to Movable Type</a>, but it still has a few minor bugs to work out (mostly my custom CSS display stuff for IDs and classes). I really hate leaving PowerBlogs because the blogging tools and template editors are the best I have seen.

But, I have tried to contact Chris for problems and changes I need to make. It has been months and cannot get a reply or acknowledgment of my requests. I don't believe it's intentional, and prefer to think that he is just busy because his business has grown. Yet I cannot continue without support.

MT wasn't my first choice, but it was the only one compatible enough to easily import my post data. The theme choices are rather meager for now, but I prefer to code my own skins and will eventually make a few. Until I get time visitors will have to put up with a generic theme.

What an unbelievably refreshing story of sportsmanship.

I think the pros often have something to learn from the amateurs.

Watched AKIRA with the Kid tonight. That anime is still good after all these years. It was the first real anime that I ever saw. Since then I have appreciated Hayao Miyazaki's magical realist work instead of the dystopian future anime.
