Bible Study

I went to a Bible Study group recently. We watched them for hours but they just didn’t do anything interesting.

You were probably studying them during the day or late at night. That’s a common beginner’s mistake. Bibles are actually crepuscular.

Two guys walk into a bar.  You’d think one of them would have ducked.

What kind of instrumentation did you have? Dowsing rods? Did you try running them backwards through a text-to-speech synthesizer?

See, Dean, that’s your problem right there. You’re watching them. You need to set them up in a Schrödinger’s cat-like scenario.

Put your Bibles into a box and put a lid on it. I guarantee you they’ll do all kinds of kewl things. Just, for Pete’s sake, don’t take the lid off! They know when they’re being watched and go dormant.

I would like to know which ones you were reading/watching. Sometimes they can be pretty good when we walk away and ponder the message.

I had a priest that would always fall asleep when we watched movies. Even though I was a grown woman, a couple of us got together and carefully placed popcorn on his head. He was quite taken aback by us and in his nice spirit, he ate the popcorn right off his head :)
With that, we all laughed out loud :)

That’s premium cheese.

They are best studied with adequate lighting, lemonade, and a grain of salt.

I don’t believe there’s any such word as "crepuscular." You made that up, Maniakes. You heretic.

Crepuscular is a perfectly cromulent word! It’s right here in the dictionary. Never mind that it’s handwritten in the margins.

Crepuscular mean “pertaining to twilight.” Then there are crepuscular rays

Interesting, in Internet Explorer from my office, the text and link tools are missing, and comment editing is gone.

I see you have fallen for the heretic’s deceitful message. A shame.

As for the editing problem: Something in your firewall or
proxy server at work, perhaps.

Erwin Schroedinger will kill you like a cat in a box.

Maybe.
