I hate this stuff too. I can't imagine the physical and  mental stamina it takes to be a candidate, and I sympathize whenever one of them suffers a moment of brainlock.

However, with the left making a huge deal every time McCain makes an understandable slip of the tongue, or even says "um...", this becomes necessary. The obamagaffe site will make it easier to counter the meme before it becomes ingrained.

Ironically, by all accounts, McCain is much more available to the press than Obama, and much more willing to speak outside of tightly controlled environments.

If he's elected, you can virtually guarantee multiple book deals like it. Along with lengthy ones about all the corrupt and evil people in his background, anyplace where he's been even microscopically inconsistent or changed his mind, and any time he flubs any line that sounds in any way, shape or form stupid.

I'm still waiting for is "Is our kids learning?" moment. I'm sure it'll come soon. (And Bush never said that, by the way, the truth never gets in the way of these things.)

I'm starting a jaymaster gaffe blog.... /snark

The Obama one seems OK in a current-events kind of way, but I could see it getting old, like the tiresome "Bushisms" series did.

The Bushisms one did generate 3 books, though, so maybe there'll be a point to it later as well.

Huh. How did that comment wind up moved to this thread? It appeared originally on the Iraqi bodybuilder thread, which now seems to have disappeared!

Maybe one of them will emigrate to the US and become a movie star someday.

Or maybe even a governor.

Oh, what am I thinking. That’s the stuff of fairy tales….
