All kidding aside, a former policeman rattled off to me the most common murder weapons (I don’t know if he meant nationally or just our city) were 1: Guns, 2: Knives, 3: Screwdrivers.

So your "Pointy Sticks" comment is less hyberbolic than you think.

It still annoys me I can’t have mm mini-leatherman anywhere with me where there may be security. Yeah my 1 1/2" blade on my mini-leatherman is a deadly weapon, look out!
