I was seriously expecting a Senator Clinton head fake, which would've generated more than a week of positive coverage about the surprise, why the surprise, how the surprise, how this brings the party together, etc., etc., etc. I doubt that half the country -- even half the Democrats -- can even recognize Senator Biden. Of course, the same can be said of Vice President Cheney, so name recognition isn't a requirement for the job. But still, I can't see Senator Biden swaying any votes. It’s Senator Biden. Yawn.
