“What’s the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?”

“One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let’s be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

“The other kills her own food.”

Off topic, but is this the same Dean Esmay who played in ASPCC a while back?

Heh. Saw it coming, but still…

That is a real good article you linked Dave.  I just finshed writing under Dean’s post of McCain’s speech how I think McCain Palin, will and have brought into light our conservative values.  I am a conservative and I have new hope.
Yeah too, that Sarah has been called SEXY!!!  She is a sexy and good piece of eye candy.  I want men to say it!  She is so very, very pretty and so very, very sexy.  I believe men would love to pull the hairpins out of her hair and let it flow down.  I think Playboy magazine will eat their hearts out.  Yes, a woman looks good in those magazines, but Mrs. Palin looks a lot better leaving room for a mans imagination.

The article linked had a comment from London.  In London, Sarah Palin is being held up in a great light.  They think over there that the U.S. media is being terrible to her.  Well, it is going to backfire and Oprah will have to ask Palin to come on her show.  As stated in the article the Democrats can’t seem to get it what mainstream America wants.  We do love our religion, we do enjoy hunting and so on.

Once again today, the radio talk show phone lines are going crazy and women are sincerely excited.  I do think we were excited over Hillary (I never was)but, she did get where she got due to her husband being president.  She got her platform with him.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. She wore her pants suits and there is nothing wrong with that.  I just happen to admire a woman that can wear her heels to her job in the Governor’s office and go out later to shoot her family’s meal.

Sexy Sarah Palin.  Sexy pretty legs.  I believe my daughter has a healthy role model in Mrs. Palin.  I like it when my daughter dresses up sexy but keeps it at that with out letting her ample bosom fall out.  Yeah, my daughter loves to shoot a gun and go fishing with her Daddy.

Kristo, I don’t know what ASPCC is exactly, can you elaborate?

Janelle,

I think Sarah Palin is strikingly attractive.  I can’t get enough of a brunette in glasses.  Were I a more vulgar man, the comments wouldn’t stop there.

And yes, I tend to find older women more attractive than those my age or younger.

6 Rodger V Rossman September 6, 2008 at 4:30 am

Kevin,

I think that I am probably vulgar enough for both of us.

Sarah Palin makes me want to…..just kiddin’

A couple of days after the speech I came to realize that she reminds me of my 4th grade teacher, my favorite teacher of all-time.  She used to bribe me into getting to school on time by giving me candy for non-truant attendance.  However, she cut me off after it became obvious that I had become addicted.

Anyway, she (my teacher) was quite liberal in her choices at the time-early 70′s.  She was a single mom and I would later find out, in her obituary, that she was never married.  Couldn’t of been easy for her given the time period.

This obviously is not  the same as Mrs. Palin, but Sarah’s cadence reminds very much of my teacher.  That sort of bottom lip resolve, with a smile, just oozed an authority that seemed to say, "I love you, but you need to shape up."

Rodger,

That’s right on…"I love you, but you need to shape up."

Sarah does remind me of a teacher from my grade school.  She was tough and so nice ;-)

Oprah will not have her on the show until after the election?  I don’t think that is a very smart idea.  Palin is what Oprah talks about and has talked about for what, 25 years?  I quit watching her a long time ago and when she got way out there with her religion, I really had to think about Oprah in a different way.  Oh well, she loves Oz…bama.
Kevin & Rodger…I know Sarah makes you both want to take her dancing……HAHAHAHAHA, TO BED!!! That is what a good healthy man does want!

"Yes, a woman looks good in those magazines, but Mrs. Palin looks a lot better leaving room for a mans imagination."

Good to know that allegations of sexism only matter when they are leveled by no-name liberal bloggers, but are perfectly kosher if they support the correct ideology.

"Oprah will not have her on the show until after the election? "

Yes yes: because even though she has not had VP-pick Biden on, or any political candidate actively running for office, Sarah Palin is entitled, entitled! to free airtime to give a campaign pitch on a privately owned show.  You know, even though she is so precious that she cannot be allowed to contact actual journalist questionsabout her record.

Clearly, this is all about fairness!

Bad,

You need to read up on what sexism really is.  Sexism is not admiring someone’s looks.  Sexism is discriminating someone, holding them back from pursuing what they want, based upon if they keep their reproductive organs on the inside or outside of their body.

Admiring Sarah Palin for her looks is not sexism.  Saying she’s not qualified for government service because she’s a woman is.

Get it right.

11 Dean Esmay September 6, 2008 at 8:13 pm

Er, she in fact had both Bush and Gore on in 2000. Her show was a must campaign stop for both men. I don’t know what she did in ’04. But Obama has appeared twice on her show. This was merely before he had "officially" announced his candidacy, which of course is the way all typical politicians behave these days: make it obvious that you’re running but don’t "announce" until you’ve milked all the pre-announcement juice you can out of the media.

Kevin:

Asking Bad to "get it right" is funny on a couple of levels.

14 Rodger V Rossman September 10, 2008 at 4:17 am

Ms. Janelle,

You have effectively worn me down.  You want men to express their true feelings in regard  to the context of this post.

Here is my contribution:

Mr. Obama is a dude, until proven otherwise.  Thus I be bias.

Barack has purple lips.  Ain’t no lipstick can cover that up.  Even if the right blend of lipstick could cover up purple lips,  Barack is a dude.

So…in terms of sexiness, we us fellas won’t come in say it…it….it…because we are bashful about full disclosure and admittance to a classy Ms. Janelle that us guys would be fully ok with throwing the soon-to-be Vice President in the mud and braining her until her cerebral cortex understood God.

15 Rodger V Rossman September 10, 2008 at 4:58 am

Sorry about that last paragraph.  I was attempting to remove the italics before I edited.   For some reason, all the text, after italics,  copies over as italics.

Plus, I was was watching Sports Center.

Here’s the male (my) perspective:

So, in terms of sexiness, we fellas will not directly tell a classy lady how we feel.  That particular brand of disclosure is reserved for the occasional late night hookup who probably doesn’t believe our BS either.  But, she is bored.

Then there is the Sarahs.

For the confused college freshman male, Sarah is a prude.  At least, that’s what we poor unlaid fools probably told  ourselves.

Twenty years later, we want to throw the-soon-be Vice President into the mud until her cerebral cortex communicates to her the full realization of God.

I hope that is honest enough for you Ms. Janelle.

You Rock.
