Incidentally, I think the "air guitar" gesture is a reference to the photo-shopped "Sarah-in-bikini-with-AK47" shot that's been doing the rounds. Here’s how I interpret this.

They portrayed Hillary as a hyper ambitious policy wonk embittered by her being OFF the ticket while the dumb good-looking hick was ON the ticket.

I guess you could say that makes Hillary look bad, and sure, nobody likes hyper-ambitious people.

But for me, I’d prefer being portrayed as hyper-ambitious and embittered over being portrayed as a brunette version of a dumb blonde, providing eye-candy for the ticket but little else.
