I’m in a seriously good mood over at City of Brass. Wouldn’t you be, too?

I don’t know if this is the appropriate phrasing, but Happy Eid al-Fitr.
Oh, and happy lunch, too!!
Eid Mubarak will suffice :) thanks! Do I go for the heavy Chipotle action, or dabble in fast food (McD’s) ? Maybe a compromise, Culver’s… hmm..
I wish I could be happy for you, Aziz, but that Dayton incident has me seriously pissed.
Martin, I was pissed yesterday, but Eid is just so much more important. muslim Americans have a choice – be forever obsessed with victimhood, or try to look beyond and contextualize these incidents. Above all, we cant let assholes take away our Eid. Then the terrorists truly will have won.
Aziz,
Understood. But I just learned the story today, so I still have some pissedness to get through.
Then Eid Mubarak!!
Oh, and go for the Chipotle or Culver’s.
"Mubarak" means "blessed" in Arabic by the way.
Barak seems to mean blessing. That’s what Barack Obama’s first name is. (The "ck" is just an alternate spelling, I’m pretty sure "mubarack" would be considered acceptable since Arabic, like a lot of languages, doesn’t transliterate perfectly into the English alphabet anyway.)
Eid Mubarak, Aziz.
I hope they find the pondscum responsible.
Belated Eid Mubarak, Aziz. And Willow, if she’s around, and anyone else.
By the way, isn’t it kind of a USPS gaffe that the Eid stamp is a penny short?
Oh, and belated Shana Tovah, Naftali, Ron Coleman, and anyone else.

i think its just old stock – they prolly have to deplete that run before printing new ones.
