The Rashid Khalidi was discussed back during the primaries. For those who do not know, Rashid Khalidi  is an American born Palestinian  and currently a professor at Colombia. He has a BA from Yale and PhD from Oxford. He was at the University of Chicago until 2003, which is where he met Obama. Khalidi also worked at the American University in Beirut in the 1970s, and sometimes spoke to reporters off the record. He was an advisor to the Palestinian delegation to the 1991 Madrid Conference. There have been claims that Khalidi worked for the PLO or was a PLO spokesperson. Khalidi denies that he ever worked for the PLO or ever was a PLO spokesperson. Khalidi has said he was unaware that anyone at ever mistakenly identified him as a PLO spokesperson. Bill Ayers was actually a member of terrorist group and took part in planning and carrying out terrorist activities. There is absolutely no evidence of Khalidi taking part in any terrorists activities, and the thinnest possible evidence of a fringe association with the PLO, which was a terrorist group that also became the elected government of the Palestinian territories. Oh, that's right.  Nothing.  NYT is close-held.  The publicly traded common stock has no real say in how the company is run. A Billion dollar in-kind contribution (as measured by reduced value of 143M shares common) in the form of diminshed brand value.  *poof* I wonder what NYT stockholders have to say about this.
