That’s one of my all time favorites!  And a family favorite too. Â
My brother and I sang a duet of that song at a Thanksgiving or Christmas party circa 1976.  I was 10 or so, he was 6.  He sang Johnny’s part…Â
Neither of us had a clue what the lyrics were actually about.  I always wondered why so many of the adults squirmed.  But now I know…Â
But I’m STILL trying to figure out what that “Jaypan Plan†line is all about…
