Today Mom was moved out of the ICU and most of the medical equipment besides a single IV in her arm removed. She is still extremely weak and groggy, and not entirely out of the woods, but much much better. She probably won’t be home for a few days, maybe a week, but it’s looking good.
After 14 days intubated and unconscious. Sweet jeebus.
Thanks for all your prayers. I’ll show her the messages when she gets home; anyone feel up to putting together a link list of all our threads on her so far? I’ll bet she’d like to read them.
