Victory In Iraq

By the way, we won. I plan to celebrate. How about you? The media’s sure not gonna do it for us, and I don’t expect Obama to ever admit it (although I’d like to be wrong about that).

I agree.  It’s a shame that our victory seems to be the world’s best kept secret.  Let us not forget the victory matters most to the people of Iraq who are finally free from the rule of a brutal tyrant.

I salute those men and women, both American and Iraqi who sacrificed to make this victory possible.

I hear GW Bush still has a surplus "Mission Accomplished" banner you could probably use.

Personally, I hold a strong preference for Veterans Day –
November 11 — each and every year.

I noticed Dean’s World failed to mention the occasion, November 11th last.

That isn’t a judgment call simply an observation.

I actually did observe it, silently, but I was too busy to get on the blog to say anything. Sorry about that. I didn’t forget though. I never do.

We should really be having victory parades for returning troops when the real drawdawns start.

Yeah. We SHOULD.

I doubt we will, which is VERY sad.
