We’re still tweaking the new look for this site based on a lot of you guys’ comments and suggestions. More as it transpires. In the meantime, we’re updating to the latest version of WordPress tonight, so if the system seems a little glitchy you’ll know why. Just chill for a bit if you have trouble posting comments or whatever.

I fear change!

My uprade to the newest WP went flawlessly. Absolutely no problems, which has not always been the case.
The hardest part is getting used to the layout of the new Admin panel.

I have always quite disliked the layout of the old Admin panel, so I’m really looking forward to the new one, which I understand was crafted to alleviate the many complaints about the older one.
Wow, strange. For me it’s like coming into your own house — yeah, that’s how I still feel, Dean — and someone’s completely redecorated.
And put up siding.

This.. whatever.. hurts my eyes.
For author changing the "written by" to just "by" would look a lot better, and appear more professional.
Sandi’s right (as usual!)

echoing others. Â cannot stand the current layout. Â hate the posts being broken up into blocks. Â hate the small text. Â hate the grass logo. Â hate that the sidebar gets relocated to the bottom of the page in comments mode. Â HOWEVER, like the two column setup as opposed to the three column you had going on before.
I like the main text better now, but the comment text is still tiny and squinty.
As a new reader, all I can say is that the current layout is absolutely fine for me.
OTOH, I hate the new Wordpress Admin Layout. Fortunately my main blog is still on wordpress MU, so is still on 2.65 – but the WP 2.7 blog I write for seems just clumsy to me after the upgrade
