I know some of you, like me, are getting an error message when the main page opens. And I’m pretty sure others of you aren’t.
If you aren’t having this problem, could you leave your OS and IE versions in the comments? Thanks for your help.

Normally I use Firefox, but tried IE and confirm that there is an error, but it is only with the Blue Weed fluid theme I installed yesterday.
I’ve temporarily switched back to the original Blue Weed static theme. It is possibly the videobox (lightbox for video) js scripts I left in the header. I will pull them out when I get a chance, and check it again.
Edit: After pulling the javascripts for the videobox my IE is loading the fluid skin fine, so I have switched it back on. Also there is a slight displacement of the white background in IE on the left side. Minor, and likely due to microsoft’s rogue adherence to W3C standards, however I should be able to come up with a CSS hack to fix it.
I WAS getting the error. And on 3 different boxes (all IE latest rev).
Now it’s working fine.
Thanks Sandi!
Yea!!! It works now! Not that it matters anymore, but I use XP-Pro and IE6. On investigating that particular error message, when caused by SiteMeter a few months ago, it had something to do with the Javascript.
True cardeblu, sitemeter is at fault too for not running their code through IE (like I should talk with this theme modification bug). Anyway I had to completley remove sitemeter script from my games forum, so people could post.
Also if anyone runs Opera I would be interested to know how theme change fairs in that browser.
Running Opera 9.63 for Linux. I’ve noticed no problems before or after.
OS: Windows X64 Professional (5.2, build 3790.srv03_sp1_gdr.080813-1204).
IE: none. I never use it except for poorly-written web pages that won’t work under Firefox.
I just fired up IE (7.0.5730.11, 64-bit) and things are fine with http://www.deanesmay.com.
Got a strange error message that my comment appeared to be a duplicate.
I’m using Opera 9.6.3 Â and XP pro FP 3 and having no problem.
