Here’s a cut I’m pretty sure 99.9% of you have never seen:
More on these underappreciated artists here and here. There’s a whole long story I can tell you about this band, which I suppose would bore most of you to tears, but it has to do with George Harrison’s early solo work, and also what caused Eric Clapton to learn how to sing and become a solo artist, and also my very favorite guitarist, Duane Allman, is involved.
But man, I do love this American Roots music.
Anyway, so what are you up to? I had a wonderful visit with the Younger Prince today, but I’m otherwise flying solo this weekend and very sad about it. What are you up to? Got any thoughts or good links to share?

Advance review of my film, Ghost Image, to be released on 8/25/09. I know, another shameless plug. Can’t help it. Until I make another film, this is all I got!

Skim coating a bathroom’s walls. Lived here 11 years and now I’m finally redoing it a month before we leave.
Hope you make some serious $$$ Jack.
Earlier, we were talking about media bias. Well, this is curious. I got this from Billy Beck’s blog – Two Four.
“Assemblyman Daniel Van Pelt (R-Ocean), Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano, Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell and Jersey City Council President Mariano Vega are among those already brought to the FBI building in Newark. Jersey City Deputy Mayor Leona Beldini has also been arrested.”

That’s New Jersey Star-Ledger reporter Joe Ryan’s paragraph on the corruption scandal blowing through New Jersey. It’s the second paragraph of the story.
Can you tell who the Democrats are?
Hint: There are four of them.
You have to read all the way to the end of the story before that is made clear.
Nope. No media bias here. Move along now.

Just finished a “work for hire” screenplay! Will polish it over the next couple days and send to the producer who hired me.
Then, I have to polish an original screenplay I wrote so I can get it to an agent (by the weekend) who will try to get it into development at a studio (or production company) with me attached as director.
THEN, I have to start the first draft of the next screenplay I will direct for the same producer who produced Ghost Image. I need to have that done by the first week of September (about 2 weeks after Ghost Image hits the home video market).
I’m busy, busy, busy, busy!
But right now — it’s Miller time!! :)
Knock em dead, Jack.
