Today, at MCAS Miramar (right outside my window), I heard reveille as I was eating my breakfast, followed by Halls of Montezuma. I was just finishing breakfast at 8 a.m. Isn't that awfully late for reveille for Marines? Maybe it wasn't reveille? Maybe it was a call to parade or inspection? I haven't heard reveille since the scouts, but that's what it sounded like.
