Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying Hope deserved the treatment she got or that those who circulated the picture should go without punishment, but I think she bears some, if not most, of the responsibility for the situation.

Texas: I had to stop reading when I realized I was reading a typical Angry Resentful Feminist Rant. Maybe a little smarter than a Yourish but not much. Teenagers commit suicide over being embarrassed. Teen boys are far more likely to do it than teen girls are, statistically, but no one gives a shit because they’re boys.
I think the story should be about remembering just how cruel kids can be and just how sensitive teenagers, particularly not-particularly-popular teens, can be.
