Two new sites!

I’ve been tinkering with these sites for a week now, and I guess it’s finally time to let the world know they’re there.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, it was made eminently clear to me that my style/philosophy of publishing was not what Examiner had in mind, (not to mention most of that radio I did in October not helping me much as nobody could find me) so I decided to cut myself loose and see if I could do better on my own.

So for better or worse, I now have

New Perspectives on Partner Abuse

Those who are supposed to know about these things say I should get something up there prior to applying to Google for Adsense, so the lack of ads is (I hope) temporary.

We’ll see how it flies! I’m new to the under-the-hood aspects of Word Press, so both sites probably require a little more tinkering for the visual aspect, but mostly I guess I’m good to go.

Congratulations Trudy. The first step is the biggest one.

I am finding your domestic abuse site, in particular, very interesting.

Thanks, Celia! Yes, it was a hard decision to make — but in this business, visibility is everything, and I just couldn’t count on the occasional hit in Google News to carry the show.

Not to mention Examiner was making 10- 100 times what I was making off my columns.
