A Truly Spectacular Failure

I envision a conversation such as this:

Dimitry: We have experienced a failure at stage three!

Mikail: Not to worry. That is why we do these tests at night. I am sure nobody noticed.

Don’t you see, they are covering up the alien attempt at contact. It’s so obvious.

Could be.

Maybe some military types aimed it at Obama while he was in Norway, and caused him to give a Bush-like “war is sometimes OK” speech as he accepted his peace prize.

And then they controlled the Russians’ minds the next day, and got them to “fess up” to a missile failure!
