In honor of Teddy Pendergrass, RIP.

I’m not a major fan, but the man had an awesome voice, and apparently, a powerful soul.

I offer this video up, not as his best “show case” performance, but as a song I suspect will be played in perpetuity.

And the cultural aspects of the mid-70’s captured in the relatively high quality video are amazing. I wonder if that one outfit inspired Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction”!

Finally saw Avatar, in 3D. The picture was absolutely crystal clear. And it was magnificent, simply magnificent. Its weaknesses as a movie are overwhelmed by its strengths. This is where moviemaking is going in the early 21st Century. Jake and I were both blown away (and I’m not easily blown away).
