So, Lulu.com has decided to have a sale and I’m going to be all capitalist and see if I can take advantage. You can get your copy of the infamous novel Methuselah’s Daughter at a %15 discount by going to Lulu.com before August 15th and using the coupon code BEACHREAD305.

How can you resist something that has a recommendation like this?
If I recall correctly it contained everything a good summer read should have. Romance, action, sex, power, slavery, genocide, serial murders, cannibalism and a world-class defense of tobacco and scotch…

As a bonus, if you buy now, we’ll send you a free copy of the PDF version of the second edition, which contains some significant updates (although is the same basic story).
I bought it when it first came out.
It’s a pretty good book, well worth the price.
But I still miss the regular storyline updates on the website.

Tara Lianne Kiel,
Can Dean and John have that for a jacket blurb?
Yours,
Wince
I will buy a copy this weekend. Look forward to reading it.
So I bought the cheap online version, am now on page 70, and have decided I not only like it but will read all of it.
If I really like it after finishing, then I might buy a hard copy.
I recommend that others give it a try and get at least to page 70.
If you are reading the first or second edition my advice has always been to skip the prologue and read it later- it reads like a Harlequin romance, particularly if you have no exposure to the character through the weblog. Third edition, assuming I ever get around to putting it up, breaks up the prologue into mini-prologues to each of the four parts of the book and that makes it much easier to take.
